About Cafe Chat
Where conversations brew. A free Indian chat community inspired by the coffee house.
Our story
Cafe Chat was created with one goal: to bring people together through the warmth of conversation. Inspired by the easy atmosphere of an Indian coffee house, it pairs real-time online chat with the feeling of talking to friends over coffee.
It runs on the trusted, long-standing ChatLife IRC Network and connects people from across India and the world in an open, friendly and easy-to-use space. Our late-night channel, #Allnitecafe, gave the site its name and its spirit: a café that never closes.

Our mission
To provide a free, safe and enjoyable space where people from India and beyond can talk without judgement. Our motto is Conversations brew better together. Everyone has a story worth sharing, and sometimes all you need is a cup of coffee and someone who listens.
The community
From Delhi to Bengaluru and Mumbai to Chennai, plus Indians living abroad, people join every day. Artists, students, travellers, tech workers and night owls all share one thing: they love to chat. Find your corner in the full list of chat rooms.
